Florida Born special effects make up artist, Ava Lee Rohloff, has been honing her creative skills for the last six years. Attending G-Star School of the Arts in Palm Beach County, FL, Ava has worked on several student and independent films, mock emergency drills for county fire and rescue, as well as X-Scream the largest high school self-run haunted house in the country. Participating in all of these events allowed her to develop her passion for special makeup effects.
Upon graduation from high school, Ava went on to attend the Tom Savini Special Makeup Effects program at the Douglas Education Center in Monessen, PA. Here she was awarded the Tom Savini Scholarship, the IDEA Scholarship and the Student Spotlight Award. Today, Ava is a skilled special makeup effects artist - sculpting, casting and molding latex and silicon masks and prosthetics. She is extremely well versed in beauty makeup. Ava has incredible grasp of color and painting techniques that further bring her creations to life. Ava works is all special effects makeup mediums, including but not limited to latex, gelatin, silicone, pros-aide.
